Metabolic Brain app for iPhone and iPad

Metabolic Brain is an app designed by health professionals for health professionals.

This app may be useful for health professionals who are trying to make sense of MRI images in patients for whom a metabolic/toxic disorder is a consideration. This app may be helpful for neurologists, intensivists, pediatric neurologists, and radiologists. Medical students, especially those interested in radiology, will find this to be a quick easy reference in the hospital.

Given a brain MRI, you can use our app to arrive at a list of potential diagnoses. All you have to do is click on the relevant imaging features the patient exhibits to narrow down the list of possibilities. The app will continue to display an increasingly specific set of options until it eventually presents you with the names of diseases that could be relevant to your case. Descriptions of each disease are also available and in specific cases, examples of the disease.
